How It Works
Chase Road keeps the driving simple and the chase busy. Your car speeds up by itself, so you only steer: a quick tap changes lanes, and holding a direction at speed swings the tail out into a drift. Police cars try to park right next to you, and if your car is slow when they do, you are BUSTED! Getting boxed in for a few seconds ends the run the same way, while every crash wears down your health until the car is WRECKED!
The wanted level runs from 1 to 6 stars, and a new star comes every 20 seconds or with a higher score. More stars bring tougher units: a police helicopter with a searchlight and road blocks at 2 stars, SWAT vans at 3, army jeeps and an army helicopter at 5, and tanks that fire shells at 6. Points come every second, with bonuses for wrecking cops and setting off explosions. At the end, a WANTED poster shows your car, your stars and your score as the REWARD.
- Press PLAY or the first left or right key to start the getaway.
- Steer through the streets and drift around the corners.
- Slip through the wooden barricades in the gaps of road blocks.
- Ram cops, push them into each other and lead them into explosions.
- Grab coin bags on the roads and pavements.
- Escape as long as you can, then spend your coins in the GARAGE.
What Makes It Stand Out
- One touch, deep driving: Just left and right, yet drifting through a road block feels great every time.
- 18 world regions: The map never ends, and you drive past the Eiffel Tower, the pyramids, Big Ben, the Taj Mahal and more.
- Police that grow with you: 6 wanted stars bring SWAT, the army, tanks, helicopters and road blocks.
- 30 cars to collect: 8 of them have abilities such as Ghost mode, Nitro, Homing missile and Oil slick.
- A city to use: Jump off ramps on the airport runway, weave between parked buses or fix up at the car wash.
- 2 PLAYERS: Race a friend on a split screen and see who escapes longer.
Getting Started
- Keep moving in Chase Road. A slow car with a cop beside it is the easiest arrest in the game.
- Aim for the barricades. The wooden boards in the gaps of a road block break when you drive through them.
- Look for the car wash. Driving through its tunnel repairs 40% of your health, and each car wash works once per run.
- Claim the DAILY GIFT. The 7 day calendar grows from 50 to 400 coins if you come back every day.
Going Further
Chase Road turns every run into coins, and coins open the GARAGE. Each run pays a share of your score plus extra coins for every star, and coin bags, MISSIONS, achievements and the DAILY GIFT add more. Common cars cost a few hundred coins, rare ones around 1000, and the legendary Missile Launcher tops the list at 5000. The PASSPORT stamps every region you visit and pays 50 coins for each first visit, and 22 achievements pay coins too. A locked car can also be test driven for one run after an optional ad.
Mistakes Worth Avoiding
- Braking near the cops. Slowing down next to a police car is how most runs end.
- Driving into road blocks head on. The units hold their line, so steer for the gaps instead.
- Ignoring your health bar. Small crashes add up, and a WRECKED! car ends the run just like an arrest.
- Skipping missions. 3 are always active, and each one pays coins toward your next car.
