How It Works

Surviv.io starts on a menu where you pick a server region and press Play Solo, Play Duo or Play Squad. The match puts you on a top-down map with your fists in slot 3, empty gun slots and a counter at the top right that shows how many players are still alive. Weapons, ammo, scopes and medical items lie around the map, and eliminated players leave their loot behind.

The red zone is the clock. It moves in from the sides of the map, a timer beside the minimap counts down to its next move, and standing in it deals more and more damage as the match goes on. There is no respawn, so one lost fight ends your match. A kill feed and a kill leader display at the top right show who is winning the fights.
